Resolutions

I thought it would be appropriate to usher in the new year with a toot on Daddy's trumpet.  Happy New Year!

Resolution 1: Get crazy on the lanes!  By the way, I rolled an 82 with bumpers.

Resolution 2: Drive furniture.

Resolution 3: Visit all of my family.

Resolution 4: Jet set like no other!

I hope you all had a great 2008 and are roaring into 2009.

By the way, as a big sister, I will let you know that the Deathstar...I mean "Then There Were Two" is fully operational.

Cheers!

The Backstory to the Sequel: Me

Ever since my big sister Ella was born, Mommy and Daddy have discussed having another child, if the Lord was to grant them their desire.  They had thought that a three year gap between birthdays would be appropriate:
  1. Mommy could fully recover from pregnancy and delivery and fit into all of her old clothes for several months.
  2. Mommy and Daddy could perfect parenting on Ella before experimenting on me.
  3. Ella could wear Mommy and Daddy down just enough to give me an inch or two of room to be me.
So it came to be that I was conceived and am due to arrive in late June of 2009.  Mommy and the the doctors predict June 20, 2009 (06/20/09).  My big sis was born on 09/20/06.  That's kind of a palindrome!  Pretty neat.

It was confirmed on 10/14/2008 that I was alive.

My first baby pictures were on 11/11/2008.

I had a second series of pictures taken on 12/10/2008.  I played a little game with Mommy, Daddy, and Dr. Bartell.  They listened for my heart, but I had snuck under my placenta.  Since they couldn't hear me, they had to shoot another photo.  I was fine, just sneaky!

I made Mama feel sick for most of the first trimester (she's feeling better now), but she told Daddy that it wasn't as bad or as long as with Ella.  Whew, I have something going for me!  I hear she's a bit of a superstar.

I have been in Michigan for almost three weeks.  An airplane took me there.  It's really cold there.

Happy New Year!

Here we are on the las day of 2008.  My how quickly 2009 has approached!  I spent the last part of my 2008 at Oma and Papa's house in Holland.  Some of my events are chronicled in the pictures below.

We got a quick family photo on Christmas.

The next picture shows the freezing cold temperatures that we were greeted by.  Papa took my cousin Trevor, Daddy, and me for a ride on his tractor as he was plowing snow.

Cheese with Oma and Pappa.

We had a special treat and playtime with my cousins Miquel, Eva, and Jordi Luke.

By the way, I will have a new brother or sister in June.  A new website is under construction for my sibling called "Then There Were Two".

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas everyone!  I hope that your time leading up to the celebration of Christ's birth has been exciting and full of joy.  I have been spending time in the snow,

with some of my daddy's family,

with some more of my daddy's family, and

then I went to Holland to spend time with my mommy's family.

So far my trip has been exciting and fun!  The cold weather has been an adjustment, but I am adapting.

I can't wait to share the rest of my trip with you next week.

Business as Usual

CHEESE!
Mommy and I did a little photo shoot outside; it was fun!

Caeden and I had a little date.  We talked over smoothies.

My parents bought me water colors to paint with.  What a blast I had!

Christmas is coming!  Are you ready?  I am getting pumped to celebrate Jesus' Birthday!

Gobble Gobble

I hope you all had a wonderful reflective Thanksgiving!

My holiday was spent with Grandpa Chuck, Grandma DeDe, Mommy and Daddy.  We had a wonderful time that included eating, bike rides, a car show, IN-N-OUT BURGER, walks, and swimming.  Don't be jealous...

We put our Christmas tree up.  That was cool.  I am looking forward to see you at Christmas and playing in the snow.  See you in a few weeks!
