O Christmas Tree, O Christmas Tree...

I hope that everyone had a fun Christmas. I have so far and my holiday isn't over yet either.

Mommy and Daddy took me on my first airplane ride to Chicago and then to Grand Rapids, MI. Grandpa Tom and Grandma Linda picked me up from the airport (I was sleeping) and then we went to their house. I got to meet a lot of new faces including my cousin Trevor. He is so entertaining for me. Mommy and Daddy are having fun and so am I. The only thing is that it is colder than I am used to, but I am hanging in there.

Today I am heading off to see Daddy's family for a few days. I look forward to meeting more new people; I am quite the socialite these days. Mommy and Daddy say it's good for me, but in doses so I don't get overwhelmed - their right, you know.

The new year is nearly upon us, so I am working on my resolution. When it is finalized, I'll let you all know.

Until next time!

13 Weeks or 3 Months?

Well, well, well, what a big week I had. Plus, I turned exactly 3 months today! Here's a pictorial look at some of my events that included a visit from Grandpa Tom and Grandma Linda, seeing Aunt Erin graduate from college, playing in the backyard, hanging with Mommy, and posing for Christmas.

Through the Desert

I made my first long trip last weekend. Daddy and Mommy took me to Arizona. We drove through the mountains and the desert; I slept.
We got to see our friends and Joshua and I are quickly becoming a thing. We'll see, I have a beau named Daniel, too.
Mommy and I went for a walk on a golf course. I was hungry, so she fed me an kept walking. She's pretty talented. I guess most of us girls can do more than one thing at a time. Daddy, on the other hand, is pretty much a one-thing-at-a-time-kinda-guy. Oh well, that's typical.I am getting ready for Christmas. In fact, we have only 12 days left! Yay!

1 + 1 = 11

Today I celebrated the 11-week anniversary of coming into the world. I am thankful that God has given me each of these 77 days. Every one of them has been different, new, and exciting. I have met so many people, seen so many neat things, and experienced many highs and lows. What a wild ride we are on as humans!

Though only 77 days old, I have found most individuals to be very kind. Maybe it's because I am so cute, but their sincerity seems genuine. Maybe it's my tongue. I guess I can only take their actions for face value.

On a different note I had some firsts this last week. I had my first babysitters and I went to my first Christmas at the Prado. Our family had lots of fun.

Well, it's getting late so I must retire for the night. I hope your adventures are great. Love all and keep it simple.

Love,
Ella

Turkey Time!

Here are some pictures from my very very first Thanksgiving. I had a nice time with Mommy and Daddy. I let them eat and then Mommy let me eat. They are teaching me the art of cooperation and teamwork. I like being part of a team.

Daddy and Mommy prepared a lot of their feast the night before while I was sleeping. It sounded like they were cooking up a storm in the kitchen!
After we ate, we went for a walk to help settle the food. I got to play in the leaves. They matched my outfit. How fun is that?

I like to wear my collar up. Daddy says that the 80's were cool. I think so, too.

Today I wore jeans for the first time. I like them. They make me feel, they make me feel, they make me feel like a natural woman! Ha ha!Gobble! Gobble!

7th Heaven

Hey everyone!

I hope you had a great week since we last chatted. I sure did. I have been really coming into my own lately. I am getting ticklish and starting to communicate better with Mommy and Daddy. Some things that I let Mommy and Daddy know are:

I am happy when I am naked and on my tummy...

I am happy when I take a bath...

I am angry when it gets later in the evening...

I like to lay in Mommy and Daddy's bed in the morning. It's warm and big and Mommy and Daddy are there with me.

My parents say that communication is the key to any relationship. I think they are right. So I tell them when I need something and they listen. Sometimes they have funny faces when they respond, but they always take care of me.

Fall Back?

So I guess the clocks fell back last Saturday...I like it. I decided it was time to sleep more at night time. It's fun to sleep. It's not uncommon for me to go 6.5 hours straight to start off my night. I heard Mommy and Daddy brag about me to their friends. I like when they talk me up!

I got a new bunny in the mail the other day. She's cute. Her name is Bonnie. Bonnie the bunny. We are good friends already.

The irony of getting Bonnie is that I was planning on dressing up like a bunny on Halloween. Aunt Melissa got me the costume. I really enjoyed wearing it, heck, I even wore it to bed that night.

Mommy took me to the grocery store today and we bought a Thanksgiving turkey. I can't wait to get some tryptophan. Daddy says it will make me very very sleepy. I am starting to like sleep a little more, but only at night time.

I reunited with some old friends today. Mommy and Daddy had a reunion with their birthing class. That was a lot of fun. I am glad to see all the others made it out safe, just like me.

I hope you all had a good week and have a good one, too!

Until next time! Adios!
