Birthday's Eve Flashback

Today is my birthday's eve, that means tomorrow is my birthday. I thought it would be a good idea to take a look back at my true "birth day's eve" and see what my mommy and daddy were up to...

It looks as though Mommy was struggling a bit. I wonder why?

This picture (that Mommy took in the hot-tub during a contraction) reminds me of the smell of Daddy's breath when I first met him at 12:37 a.m. on that Wednesday morning . He was eating tuna on my birth day's eve. How vivid that aroma is a year later!

I think I am going to get some presents tomorrow. Big fun. Here's the first present I ever gave to my parents.

Step by Step

Rise up and walk!

I took my first steps on Friday (9/7/2007). I have taken a few more but am still testing out my balance. A casual stroll is not in the too distant future.

I have also taken a giant step in my swimming prowess. I am gaining confidence and don't get concerned with getting water on my face. Every day is a little easier. Soon all memories of Mark Spitz and Michael Phelps will be erased.

I have stepped into the wilderness of Phoenix (my backyard, above). I have seen bunnies, a koi pond, and cacti. I do not fear either of these things though they both present challenges to the human race. I liken myself to Dr. Doolittle or Steve Irwin, harmonizing with nature, a bunny-fish-cactus whisperer.

Hopefully you will soon be able to join me in a trek, one step at a time, down a wash or race along a steppe in the arid and rugged scape.

As a wise sage once said, "We walk looking forward, one step, one foot at a time."

Paradise to the Valley

Happy Birthday Aunt Melissa!

Hi friends and family!

We did it, we moved, we moved to Phoenix and so far, so good.

I got to visit with my Uncle Cory and Aunt Melissa and my Grandpa Steve. We had lots of fun and worked hard.

Words can't explain how happy I am to be with both Mommy and Daddy. We like each other and have a wild time hanging out together.
