Little Wonder

Hey everyone! I hope you have had a splendid week! I sure did. You wanna know why? I graduated to the kitchen sink now that my cord fell off. The water is fun!

Last Friday Daddy and I shared a celebration. I turned 1 month old and Daddy turned 28 years old. It was fun! I was kind of grumpy and I wanted to move all day. We celebrated by going out for pizza, mmmm! Then we came home and ate homemade German Chocolate Cake. Mommy and I made it special for Daddy!

Grandpa Tom and I really bonded. He liked to take me on walks. We walked around my neighborhood, to the Yogurt Mill, and at the beach. We got along really well. I can't wait to see him again.

I have continued to grow. I am almost in the next size diaper. Mommy and Daddy say before too long I will be in school and dating boys. Yuck, boys are just plain silly!

Right now I don't like to sleep that much. I want to take it all in. Mommy and Daddy have to try hypnotics or something on me. They bounce and sing, swaddle and turn, and run the vacuum and I fall asleep for a bit, but then spruce right up! The world is my playground!

So long! Go Tigers!

Love,

Ella

Almost 1 Month!

I am 4 weeks old now! Yippee!

This last week brought some very new and exciting adventures. I went for my first run at Lake Murray. It was too fun! I lost my umbilical chord, helped Daddy vacuum, and meet my Grandpa Tom, too. He got in super early this morning. He had a very very long flight and some bizarre travels.

I decided that I was going to grow a lot. I was so hungry and couldn't stop eating. I let Mommy and Daddy know it every time. For some reason it's just that time.

I also get really angry at around 7:15 p.m. every night. Something just clicks and I really lose my cool. I know that Mommy and Daddy get frustrated, but they are good to me. I think it's just a phase and am excited to move on.

I am really looking forward to the rest of the week. I will turn one month on Friday. That's Daddy's birthday, too. Mommy and I are going to make German Chocolate Cake for him.

Mommy and I are really bonding. We are best friends. She is lots of fun and takes care of me!

Until next week!

Three Down...

I have just completed my third week of life. So far, I am having a blast. Everyday I experience something new and interesting. I think that bath-time is my favorite of all. At first I wasn't too sure, but now I am sold. I wish I could take a bath all the time.

One funky thing that happened, is that I got a little sick over the weekend. My breath smelled sour and I spit up. That was a first and only for me. No thanks to that for me!

Grandma Linda left last weekend. She was a big help to Mommy and Daddy. They were really happy with her visit.

Over the last week, I have gone on several walks and my first trip to Lake Murray. I liked the trip there and I saw my friend Ashlynn Coon. It was sweet!

I am so excited about the Tigers! Daddy likes to watch them. Tigers all the way!

Family Ties

So this last week has been a big one for me.

Grandma Linda has still been here and she really did my bedroom up. I mean did it up! There are cool flowers and dragonflies all over and they are my favorite colors, too.

Grandpa and Grandma D and Aunt Melissa came over the weekend and had big fun with me. We did lots of fun things and went to the pool and church for the first time.

Mommy and Daddy are lots of fun. Some of the things they do are weird, but I am getting used to them. Dad says that Elvis lives...Some activities that I like is when they to read to me, sing to me, dance with me, and wrap me up like a carne asada burrito. Sometimes when they do that I cry for a bit but then I fall asleep unless my diaper is wet or dirty.

I am a whopping two weeks old today and don't feel a day over one week old. Boy, time sure does fly.

Love you all!
